Royal stage

Saturday we had the toughest stage of the competition, which is also called the royal stage. Right after the start, two cyclers, Martynenko Oleksandr and Popov Dimitro managed to escape.

After arriving to Racu the Bruno Rizzi the Italian cycler from Tusnad Cycling Team had caught them, and the three of them managed to keep their lead for 160 km, till they reached Odorheiu Secuiesc.

The first sprint of the day took place at Sandominic and the second one at Odorheiu Secuiesc. Both were won by Martynenko, while the winner of the last sprint, at Vlahita, was won by Pakhtusov Anatoliy.

There were three climbs in the third stage, all being won by Bruno Rizzi from Tusnad Cycling Team.

The winner of this stage was Oleksandr Sedyk, Pedraza Morale Fernando was second and Evgheni Gerganov was third.

Tomorrow is the last day of the competition, with  two halfstages to take place. In the morning, starting at 10.45 am, an individual race will take place on a 14 km distance and at 18 pm a cicuit race is programmed on the streets of Miercurea Ciuc.

Tomorrow the blue jersey will be worn by Evgheni Gerganov, the yellow jersey with Csikszereda inscription is gonna be worn by Bruno Rizzi from Tusnad Cycling Team and the red-black jersey is going to Sedyk Olexandr. The green jersey for the best U23 rider is  going to be worn by Camilio Castelblanco from Columbia.
