Andrea Pinos – Elite (sprinter) :
The winner of the 6th stage

“il giro della romania era un appuntamento che puntavamo da inizio stagione, tutto il team si è preparato al meglio per cercare di raigiungere il massimo risultato!!quest’anno le tappe sono state molto combattute,gia dalla prima tappa che si sperava fosse da velocisti( per quanto mi riguarda) alla fine si è caratterizzata con una fuga di 9corridori tra i quali  Bruno Rizzi nostro uomo di punta è   Bálint Szeghalmi..per me le prime tappe non sono state molto facili nell’ arrivo allo sprint vinto da Giampaolo Biolo,sono stato (da una curva negli ultimi 150metri quindi solo quarto!moralmente ero un pò abbattuto, dopo di che arrivarono le tappe in salita dove Bruno si guadagno la maglia verde di scalatore e il secondo posto nella classifica generale..la sesta tappa per me era l’ideale 180km senza salite impegnative..un gran caldo e il vento che fa faticare un pò tutti tranne chi ha esperienza,la volata che ho vinto è stata difficile fino agli ultimi 800 merti dei corridori hanno tentato un azione da finisher, ma sventate dall’alta velocità del gruppo,dopo essere partito per lo sprint gli ultimi 200 metri sono stati i piu semplici nessuno davanti a me solo il vento.
il team ha lavorato bene c’è molto da migliorare per raggiungere un livello da veri proffesionisti ma con buona volontà e con la direzione di Pierangelo Vignati General Manager,sono sicuro che godremo di un futuro roseo e pieno di sorprese positive.”

“The Tour of Romania was a competition we were aiming from the beginning, the whole team was prepared at its best and we all wanted to obtain the best results. This year the stages were very competitive, starting from the first day. Honestly I hoped to make a good result in the first stage, but there was a 9 bikers escape with my team colleagues Bruno Rizzi and Bálint Szeghalmi and so I couldn’t make anything.
For me, the first stages weren’t too easy, in the sprint won by Giampaolo Biolo, I came out fourth. I was feeling a bit down, but after that in the climbing stages Bruno won the green shirt and came out second in the general classification. The sixth stage was my favorite with 180km without many demanding hills. The heat and the wind had exhausted everyone, except those with experience. I have won, and it wasn’t difficult until the last 800m.
The team has done a good job, but there is still a lot to do to reach the level of true professionals. Though I am sure that through our effort and the leadership of General Manager Pierangelo Vignati, a brilliant future is ahead us, full of positive surprises. ”

Bruno Rizzi – Elite (climber) :
2nd position in overall classification

“Direi che nel complesso la competizione è stata ben organizzata anche se è manca ta una tappa con arrivo in salita.
La squadra ha lavorato bene ma dal punto di vista tattico ci sarebbe da migliora re, in particolare bisognerebbe essere più uniti durante le fasi di gara più imp ortanti.
Per quanto riguarda la gara direi che è stata molto combattuta durante le prime tappe mentre nelle ultime è stata maggiormente controllata dalla squadra di Koev  con il nostro contributo che è servito per conservare il secondo posto in class ifica e portare Pinos a disputare le volate nelle migliori condizioni.
Ogni tappa è stata comunque difficile perché, dato l’ esiguo numero di corridori , bisognava sempre stare molto attenti a non lasciare troppo spazio alle fughe.”

“All in all, the competition was very well organized, despite the fact that it didn’t have a stage with an uphill finish. The team has done a great job, but regarding tactics we still have what to improve, here I refer especially to the fact that the team should remain more united during the important stages.
The first stages of the race have been very competitive, while the last couple of stages were controlled by Koev’s team and us, so we managed to finish the race on the second place and assure Pinos the best conditions for the sprints.
All the stages could be considered difficult, given the huge number of “runners”, you had to always pay attention not to leave too much space for the escapers.”
